Miramar 6500 Clubhouse

San Diego, CA

San Diego, California

The Community Center at Miramar is a 6,715 square foot building located on the corner of Bellatrix Drive and Elrod Avenue. Its location on the site addresses Anti Terrorism/Force Protection guidelines and setbacks.

The building’s front elevation has an arcade that runs the length of the building terminating in a main tower. A secondary tower indicates where to access the building from the parking lot and exterior play areas.

The Commons/Lounge has a double-sided fireplace in the middle of the room creating two more intimate spaces for the residents to gather. This area also looks out into the courtyard with its peaceful fountain and seating areas under a beautiful trellis. The Business Center is a place where residents are able to check their e-mail, read a book, and meet friends. The Classroom serves as a place to hold neighborhood classes and meetings without having to use the main spaces of the building. In addition, parents can exercise in the Fitness Room while their children are entertained in the adjacent Kids Room. Both the Classroom and the Fitness Center look out into the pool deck.
