Torti Gallas and Partners is Part of Winning Development Team for New LifeSci Village

Torti Gallas and Partners, Inc. is proud to be part of the winning development team for the 115-acre parcel known as Site 2 in Eastern Montgomery County, Maryland. The site, to be called LifeSci Village, is being developed by Global LifeSci Development Corporation, an affiliate of Percontee, Inc, a White Oak-based developer.

Site 2, located off of Route 29 and Industrial Parkway, is adjacent to the 130-acre consolidated headquarters of the Food and Drug Administration, the site of the anticipated new Washington Adventist Hospital and the 185-acre Percontee, Inc. sand and gravel processing facility owned by the Gudelsky family, well-known local and regional real estate and land developers with a long-history of projects in Montgomery County and throughout the region.

Torti Gallas’ design for LifeSci Village will transform Percontee's former sand and gravel quarry and the County’s unutilized Site 2 property, totaling 290-acres, into a world-class mixed-use bioscience village. This vibrant bioscience employment and research center will also feature a variety of housing choices, trails, parks and outdoor spaces, educational facilities, restaurants, shops, and other sought-after entertainment and services amenities.
