Traffic Gardens as part of DC's Vision Zero Initiative!!

Torti Gallas is Designing our First Traffic Garden under the DC Vision Zero Initiative!!

Torti Gallas + Partners is excited to be part of a team chosen by the District of Columbia Department of Transportation to further the goals of Vision Zero, Mayor Muriel Bowser’s initiative which aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities and serious injuries from Washington, DC streets by 2024.  Working with George Mason University, The Bureau of Good Roads, Safe Routes to School National Partnership and Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA), Torti Gallas will be designing traffic gardens for the DC Public Schools & Biking in the Park program. We are excited to be part of this team and look forward to getting started!
