Project Description
TG+P has been involved in over twenty-five separate master planning and architectural projects at Asbury Methodist Village’s Gaithersburg and Solomons Island, Maryland campuses since 1973.
Projects have included: the Diamond Building, a 120,000 sf, 7-story, 202-unit independent living building; twin, 12-story towers which together include 400 independent living units, recreation and dining facilities, and an activities center; the Wilson Health Care Center and a subsequent addition to their 300-bed nursing facility. In addition, TG+P was commissioned to review and update the Asbury Methodist Village Master Plan. The resulting plan gave shape and character to future development and provided detailed recommendations for building programs.
The villas and apartments at Asbury Methodist Village offer a wide choice of sizes, floor plans and options, giving active seniors the opportunity to live as formally or informally, as busy or relaxed, as they please.
