Project Description

The new building is connected at the ground floor to the existing Samuel J. Simmons Senior Apartments comprising 175 existing affordable senior apartments. Design of the new building was a collaborative effort between the design and development teams, the DC government, and the surrounding community—including the residents of the existing building.
