Project Description

Located in the heart of the City of Rockville, Maryland, this mixed-use development was built on the site of a public parking lot within two blocks of Metro’s Red Line. In addition to retail uses, the west phase of this project includes a Cambria Suites Hotel, residential apartments and parking. A future East phase will include additional residential, retail, and parking.

With the loss of a 361 space surface parking lot, a total of 1,156 parking spaces have been provided for this 1,400,000 SF development. In order to find an economically feasible design solution and at the same time hide the parking, our innovative design for each of the phases has a parking podium wrapped with single loaded hotel rooms and residential apartments, atop of which stands 7 and 10 stories of a double loaded corridor residential building.
